Nutha Contest

I Still have a couple of ARCS of The Guardians of the Hidden Scepter left in my office and they need to go. I need people to read this book and get the word out early.

So here's another contest. Simple and easy.

Put a comment about your favorite Christmas song. One that when it's on the radio you have to listen and it puts you in the holiday mood. Comment as many times as you like or just once. I'll do a random drawing on Wednesday and the winner will get a signed Advanced Copy of The Guardians of the Hidden Scepter. So, naturally, the more times you comment the more chances you have of winning. If you've already won (Jeana) and you happen to win again, I'll give you the choice of an ARC of Guardians, or Hashbrown Winters and the Phantom of Pordunce.

I personally love the Christmas Song by the Dave Matthews Band. If you haven't heard it, go download it or listen to it or something. I just think it's cool.

On another note, I don't get the 12 days of Christmas song. At all. Yeah, it was great as a kid. We'd all get excited because I think there were numbers in the song and it sounded like the singer was going to get a whole bunch of cool stuff for Christmas as they rattled off their list.

But it's all about birds. Did the author of that song work at an aviary? Birds?

What would I do with turtle doves, a partridge, french hens, calling birds, swans...

I know what birds do. They do it all over my car all year round.

I really don't like Christmas music. And by "don't like" I mean it annoys me. Does hating Christmas songs still count as an entry?
Sadly, I don't work at CFI now that I had my baby or I could just read your books at work like I used to.

I hate to be redundant as this was one of my answers in your last contest, but I love almost all the songs from The Forgotten Carols.

And I love the Muppets version of Little St Nick, and John Denver and The Muppets 12 days of Christmas. It's the only one I can tolerate.
Their version of We Wish You a Merry Christmas just because Gonzo Zings Miss Piggy.
Okay, I just love the Muppets.

And my all time Favorite, Joy to the World.
I sums up the reason for celebration and done right can be absolutely thrilling!

And that is enough from me.
Thanks FLC!

Pennies from Heaven. I don't know if it is a Christmas song but it is on the Elf soundtrack. It makes me hungry for Italian food. And it would suck if pennies really fell from heaven. Anything that hits you from the sky usually hurts or stinks.

Christmas Shine is a great song. I am drinking some as we speak. Two Parts maple syrup, 1 part rubbing rub alcohol and six heavy doses of Vicks vapor rub. If that does not get you buzzed then I don't know what will.
