Check Out My Friends

All right you beautiful people. Wendy Paul and myself need your help. Don't know who Wendy Paul is? You've probably salivated over a few of her cupcakes and didn't even know it. I don't know if she goes by this title, but I like to call her the Cup Queen. Yeah, that's a terrible name, but this woman makes incredible cupcakes and has taken the western world by storm with her skillz. (take note of the "z" at the end of that word, because I'm cool like that.) Wendy is also a good friend of mine and she needs your help. She and some of her cupcake goodness are taking part in the Duncan Hines Red Carpet Cupcake Challenge. I know, amazing huh? Well, since I know you guys want to help a good person out, you'll want to vote for her cupcake, which happens to be heaven sent in a paper wrapper. It's the Boston Cream Pie Cupcake. So, if you've tried her cupcakes, or plan on doing so (strongly recommended. Heidi makes them all the time and I've got the belly that proves how great they are) then please follow this LINK and vote for her. Now, the way you'll help me is that she's promised to make me a dozen cupcakes if I can get her some votes. I'm way too skinny and I need some buttering up. It's up to you to beef up my facade. Sadly, that last part was a lie. Oh she'll make me some cupcakes, but I don't think I really need the buttering up.

Yes, I have more friends with great news. Andy Hueller's new book Dizzy Fantastic and the Flying Bicycle is due out in bookstores next month. I've read this book and loved it. I think if you're looking for a great, clean read for your kids this would be an excellent one to pick up. Just click on the link above and you'll be magically whisked away to the Amazon.

I've got some pretty cool friends. Pretty talented ones as well.

Thanks for your support, Frank. I just received my author copies, and Cedar Fort did a lovely job.

Man. Those cupcakes sound good right about now.

Hey,
I finally had time to read Hatchet and it was great. Thanks for passing it along! If I didn't tell you already, my 8 year old son loved the Hashbrown books. Crazy fun!
