Ummm... I really need to come up with better titles

Today, I had somewhat of a mid-life crisis. I know, I'm only 32 that would mean I'll be dead by 46... (Math was never my strongest subject.) I don't even know if you could call it a mid-life crisis to be truthful. It was just one of those weird days that caused me to think way too much. Okay, okay, do you really want to know what brought it on? It's these doggone New Year's resolutions looming over me. We're 21 days into 2010 and I don't think I'm going strong on any of them! I've about given up. Funny how the number 21 reared it's ugly head. Didn't someone say that it takes 21 days to form a habit? Well my habits are all plopped. I drank some soda this evening. I knew I shouldn't have, but it tasted so good and the little bubbles were calling my name. I had some fast food today, which wasn't that bad because I think it made me sick so it didn't have the same affect the soda did, but still. P90X has become a running joke in our household. I laugh harder at Tony Horton than I do at Jack Black. Ugh, I don't know. I don't know (shrug)

This is a dumb post! No value... unless

Okay, I've got an idea, and I think it's a good one. I'm starting over right now. Same resolutions, same commitment, but now the new year starts on January 22nd (tomorrow)

Are you with me? You don't have to stay up late tonight unless you really want to. No ones going to blame you for tucking in early tonight. I'm not changing my mind about this. January 22nd will become an official holiday in my book. I think I may even try to register it with someone way up in the government. It needs to have a really catchy name. Something that will stick. Something that will give people hope that they can mess up on their resolutions in those first 21 days of any new year, but won't have to feel like total losers. They can start anew, refocus, achieve greatness!

We'll call it... Resoredo Day!

Get it? Reso- Redo (Resolution Redo)

Yeah, it's awful, but does a name really matter? I know I just said it did, but I'm so tired and yet excited about this brand new holiday.

So, join me now in celebration! Bang some pots and pans together to show your support. Go outside and light off a few Roman Candles. Spray paint an old basketball and throw it from your roof to symbolize the traditional "Ball Drop". Tomorrow is Resoredo Day! Anything's possible. Magic will happen and if it doesn't, you can join me here on February 13th and we'll give it another go!

You'll have to pick another day for your holiday because today is already taken. It's "Answer Your Cat's Question" Day. And no, I'm not joking.

(I CANNOT believe some of the things our goverment let get declared a holiday! Persoanlly, I think Resoredo Day would be way better.)

Answer your Cat's Question Day? Lame, lame!! We can start a revolution for Resoredo Day. I already started it off right and on track. Of course, I just woke up. :)

You and Kev are so good at making up new words! And lifting that fridge counts as exercise you know. Thanks for helping! It's almost ready to go downstairs too.

Tia, I guess it could be worse. I could be an amneiac. Does lifting the fridge really count for me when you did most of the work?
