What would you do?

Now it's time for a little game I like to call "What would you rather...?" I received some inspiration recently on facebook and have decided that this game should start making random appearances throughout my blog. Feel free to answer or not at all, but what fun would that be?

1. What would you rather do ... if you woke up in the middle of the night only to discover that your cell phone was missing and your highly volatile, psychopathic neighbor was watching an episode of M.A.S.H. in your living room while eating chips and holding one of your telephones off the hook? Would you...

a) Open your bedroom window and scream uncontrollably until one of your normal neighbors calls the authorities. Then, when that angers your chip-eating intruder, barricade your bedroom door with your dresser and hop on facebook in an attempt to poke one of your local friends hoping that they're having a late night?

b) Grab a weapon, put as much layering of clothing on as possible for padding and then charge down the stairs to challenge your neighbor with force?

c) Raid the bathroom and cover yourself with talcum powder. Then prance down the stairs like a phantom all the while producing the eeriest moaning you can muster to try and convince him the house is haunted?

d) Pull out several life-sized cardboard movie actors (for the purposes of this question you indeed own many) and position them strategically down the hallway and then blast music from your stereo to give off the appearance your home is populated with very popular people.

e) Casually stroll into the kitchen, warm up some bean dip and join your neighbor on the couch acting as though you had invited him over to begin with?

Okay, that was kind of stupid, but I'm trying something new. I have more nostalgic moments, but I need to split them up a little or one day I'll be completely out of things to blog about. If this is a ridiculous scenario I apologize, I'll come up with some better ones in the future. Now remember, these are your only choices. You can't make up something else and if you decide to say something like "I choose all of the above," than chances are, you're the psychopathic neighbor. Stop eating my chips!

Ha ha! That reminds me of a time when I was eleven years old at home late at night with only my friend and seven year old brother for company. We were mucking around when all of a sudden heard noises around the perimeter of the property and realized someone was casing our house! We about freaked! No adults, now house security, no weapons! What do we do? I came up with the 'brilliant' idea that we should pretend to hold a very loud, and violent sounding martial arts class-- we made a lot of karate chop sounds and Miss Piggy sounding Hi Yas! As crazy as it seems now at the time the whole kung fu charade actually gave us courage by the end of our little drama we felt invincible and we may even have scared the intruders away! A short time after this our house was actually robbed and we lost many valuable items. Pretty scary stuff but funny as I look back at it now:0)
